Vineyard Notes
The 2023 Grape harvest in Sonoma County was characterized by cooler temperatures, abundant rainfall, and a delayed start. The combination of excessive rains over the winter months, late budbreak and slow ripening outlined white varietals high in acid and flavors reflecting perfect maturity, flavor, and complexity at picking.
Production Notes
Each varietal was processed individually to express the true essence and purity that represents the Terroir. The wine was aged almost equally in a combination of neutral French oak, stainless steel and concrete tanks.
Tasting Notes
The wine presents a noble golden color with an aroma that swiftly escapes the glass revealing enticing notes of fresh guava, pear, quince and wildflowers. The flavors expand even further revealing lemon grass, orange peel, and tangerine complemented with toffee and vanilla notes. On the palate, this blend continues to impress with luscious and crisp minerality and mouthwatering flavors. Lemon curd, candied citrus, and apricot appear, as the taste evolves into a multilayered, long finish.
Food Pairing Notes
Try Unico Vino Blanco with Oyster Rockefeller, an assorted sashimi platter or Peach, Burrata and arugula salad.
