Vineyard Notes
The 2022 growing season was a challenging vintage defined by a severe Labor Day heatwave. While a cool, temperate summer led to steady ripening, the heat compressed the harvest. Our Napa Valley property did a fantastic job at showcasing its pursuit for greatness. The best wines from this vintage show good structure and fresh acidity. This "tale of two harvests" required exceptional vineyard management, but the resulting wines often possess a great sense of purity and balance despite the hurdles.
Production Notes
This wine's pitch-black, inky color captivates you instantly. Aromas of graphite, molasses, and forest floor give way to a palate of rich dark cherry, vanilla, and mocha, with hints of pinecone and dark chocolate. It is a wine of incredible power and vibrancy that leaves you wanting more. Enjoy its amazing complexity now, or watch it evolve gracefully over decades in your cellar.

Food Pairing Notes
While Lorena may be incredibly good to drink on its own, you can take it to the next level and try a classic: Grilled Tri tip with Yukon Gold Mashed Potatoes, creamy Artichoke dip, topped with Chili oil.
