2018 was a near picture-perfect growing season and began in late February. Spring was mild, with extended flowering yielding uniform grape clusters. Temperatures remained steady and warm throughout the growing season, without any significant heat spikes, making for a cool, unhurried harvest.
Production Notes
A proprietary blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, and Petit
Verdot, this wine was patiently aged in our cellars in 100% New French oak for 24 months.
Tasting Notes
The stunning blend shows richness, elegance, and balance. Complex and inviting aromas of graphite, cassis, sandalwood, dark cherry, framboise, espresso, dried figs, and rose petals fill your nose. The palate is greeted with layered flavors—bright dark cherry, vanilla Crème Brûlée, ripe raspberries, cassis, dark chocolate, toasted pumpkin seeds to name just a few. Truly, it is harmony in a glass.

With the power, finesse, and vibrancy, this wine will pair well with many foods, but you’ll be in heaven with some Fall-Off-the-Bone Barbeque Ribs.
